They like us. They really like us! Score one for the Rocket Salt & Pepper

StyledOn visited us last week at the New York International Gift Fair, and we enjoyed our chat with them. They totally understand our robot-inspired housewares:

SL Sci-fi Convention on MMO Report on G4tv. Hey - he called us nerds!

G4tv gives the SL Sci-Fi convention a shout out today (link here, starts at 4:00) http://bit.ly/9bhkr0 Nerds we may be, but it’s also a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society so head on over to the Palladium sim and donate to all those tip jars you see, because it’s all for a good cause.

Museum of Robots ‘Origami Portfolio’ on display in Sustainability: Design for a Better World at #NYIGF in August

New York International Gift Fair presents “SustainAbility: design for a better world® display, a curated exhibit of global gift and home industry suppliers whose products or production processes are eco-friendly, or companies whose business practices are socially responsible, philanthropic or fair-trade oriented.” Museum of Robots Origami Portfolio has been selected for the display. Here’s what it’s all about:

Museum of Robots PET Felt Collection: Origami Portfolio The fabric is made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, products are designed with only recycled materials so bags are completely recyclable with a full cradle-to-cradle lifecycle

Each pound of fabric we use is the equivalent of 10 plastic water bottles that are saved from landfills and repurposed into functional bags The portfolio is sold ‘flat’ and the consumer folds the product, securing with button to create the portfolio, which holds letter-size pads and folders.

We met eco-chic-design.com at the New York Gift Show earlier this year, and they really understood our line of recycled PET bags. They very kindly share their thoughts:

Maker Faire today: steampunk robogirls, robots, spaceships and donuts

At Maker Faire today (http://www.makerfaire.com/) spied endless cool stuff. Steampunk well represented, as were robot kits and clubs. If you go, do not miss the Raygun Gothic Rocketship. If all goes well, it will be coming to Pier 14 in SF in August. http://www.raygungothicrocket.com/ This is what we remembered to take pics of. Blame the dazzling food (see giant paella pans) and mini-donuts for any absent mindedness that may have occurred. Doggy Diner was even there, if only as a long ago memory…
